LOS ANGELES -- With offensive stars Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Dez Bryant not playing Saturday night, youngsters Taco Charlton and Rico Gathers stepped up and provided the highlights for the Cowboys. Here are my five thoughts on the Cowboys' second preseason game, a 13-10 loss to the Los Angeles Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. 1.) Taco Charlton has had a rough start to training camp. The Cowboys' first round pick hasn't stood out much in individual or team drills. His play in the Hall of Fame game was underwhelming. But his showing on Saturday was much improved. Charlton made an immediate impact rushing from the right end spot, recording two tackles and a sack in the first half.
